An opportunity for you to step forward and support this worthy project, with your donation and / or your personal input.
I was delighted to welcome you last night to the State Library of Western Australia’s new initiative, Mining & Energy WA: Treasuring our Resources History.
This significant project received very positive feedback and support for the establishment of the Archive. We also received enthusiastic offers from people willing to become a champion of the Archive to widen the networks and ensure this project reaches fruition.
The State Library intends to run a series of similar events for those with an interest in the resources sector. The next event is planned for July 2016, leading to a major launch of the Archive in September 2016. At the time of the launch the Foundation aims to have raised between $1.5M to $2M of our total target. This will provide greater momentum for this undertaking and establish Mining & Energy WA Archive as a distinguished project.
Your support with the provision of suggested contacts to invite to the event in July would be greatly appreciated. The date will be advised and we will issue an invitation. You are welcome to attend the event, along with those you have championed.
I would also like to take this opportunity to ask if you would like to be involved in the project in some other way. Any discussions will be kept confidential, including that of a donation that you or someone you know may also wish to consider.
We will connect with you during the next 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact Birute Greenhalgh, Acting CEO and Campaign Manager on email@example.com or 0426 250 733. Alternatively contact Bronwyn McGhee on firstname.lastname@example.org or 9427 3175.

On behalf of the Committee may I thank you again for your participation and interest. I look forward to connecting with you in the near future.
